EVigilante
Now live: the charger watchdog

Never charge alone.

EVigilante is a community of EV drivers watching out for each other: which chargers actually work, and who has your back when you're charging late at night. Stay vigilant so every driver gets charged up and home safe.

Two ways we watch out for you

Broken chargers are the most common complaint EV drivers have. Charging alone in an empty lot at night is one of the most uneasy. We're tackling both.

🔌

Broken-charger watchdog

Tap a charger and report its status in two taps: working, slow, broken or blocked. Add a photo if you like. Reports from other drivers confirm each other, and every station earns a reliability score you can trust more than the network's own map.

Safe charging at night

Start a session when you plug in. The app checks in with you while you charge. Miss a check-in, or tap the alert button, and help comes in steps, starting with the people you trust.

Coming next · when it matters most

The two fit together. Reporting chargers is the everyday habit that puts members near every station, and having members nearby is what makes the safety feature work.

How help escalates

One step at a time, and only as far as you need. 911 is one tap away the whole time.

  1. Your trusted contactsThe people you choose hear first if you miss a check-in.
  2. Members nearbyOther drivers can call, message, or drive by while staying in their car.
  3. Emergency servicesIf you need them, call 911 straight from the session, at any step.

Vigilant, not vigilante

  • We will never ask anyone to confront or intervene. Members support from a distance.
  • Location is shared only during a charging session, and sharing stops the moment it ends. No tracking, ever.
  • We collect the minimum we need and keep it only as long as a session lasts.

The name is about being vigilant: watching out for each other, not taking matters into our own hands.

Try it now

The charger watchdog is live: check a charger before you go, and report what you find. Safe charging at night comes next, one metro area at a time.
